Job summary

Fyld is hiring a Senior .NET Backend Developer to design and implement cloud-native backend services. You will work on scalable distributed systems using .NET 6+ and Azure/AWS, building RESTful APIs and microservices with a strong emphasis on clean architecture.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in backend development, hands-on with Docker/Kubernetes, and experience in CI/CD pipelines. Proficiency in English is required, and Lisbon-based or remote-friendly arrangements may apply.

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in Backend Development
• Strong experience with NET Core / .NET 6+ / .NET 8
• Solid knowledge of C#, ASP.NET Core, RESTful APIs, and Microservices Architecture
• Experience designing and implementing scalable and resilient distributed systems
• Knowledge of Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases
• Experience with Azure Cloud Services: Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Storage Accounts, Azure Key Vault, Azure API Management, Azure Monitor & Application Insights
• Experience with AWS Services (nice To Have): AWS Lambda, ECS / EKS, S3, RDS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications
• Knowledge of Kubernetes (AKS/EKS) is a plus
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools
• Understanding of Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, Design Patterns, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Familiarity with messaging and event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus)
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation) is a plus
• Fluent in English
