Job summary

Devoteam is seeking an experienced SRE / RCA Lead & Manager to join our nearshore team in Portugal. You will lead the Run & Build DevOps team, drive SRE culture across serverless cloud apps, and ensure high availability and reliability with RCA-driven improvements.

You will collaborate with French build teams and stakeholders to align priorities, mentor engineers, and enforce IaC and security standards in a modern AWS environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years IT experience with proven SRE/DevOps leadership or management.
• Hands-on AWS serverless architecture experience (Lambda, API Gateway, S3).
• Experience with observability and logging tools (CloudWatch, Splunk, Dynatrace).
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Python or Go. Proficient in RCA and incident management.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management in international contexts.
• English fluency (written and spoken) required.

Responsibilities

• Lead nearshore Dev/DevOps Run & Build team; foster ownership and continuous improvement.
• Establish reliability standards: SLIs, SLOs and Error Budgets for cloud workloads.
• Oversee incident management, perform RCA and implement preventive measures.
• Manage advanced cloud observability and monitoring across AWS serverless apps.
• Drive cloud optimization and cost-efficiency for serverless workloads.
• Coordinate with French build teams and customer stakeholders on priorities.
• Mentor engineers; conduct reviews and guide complex operational challenges.
• Ensure security, IaC standards and enterprise reliability guidelines.
