Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Operations Analyst to join our Nearshore team working on a high-impact project for a Belgium client, to ensure the operational integrity and stability of an M2M (Machine-to-Machine) platform within the telecommunications sector.
This role combines strong hands‑on technical expertise with a critical vendor management and coordination responsibility, acting as the central point of contact across a complex ecosystem of interconnected systems and external partners.
The successful candidate will operate in a fast‑paced, international environment, taking ownership of operational issues, driving resolution across multiple stakeholders and ensuring service quality and contractual compliance.

• Ensure the day‑to‑day operational stability and integrity of an M2M platform in a telecommunications environment.
• Monitor and support an ecosystem of approximately 20 interconnected systems, identifying dependencies and operational risks.
• Perform technical analysis and troubleshooting on Linux-based environments (RedHat).
• Develop and maintain scripts and automation using Bash and Python to support operations, monitoring and reporting.
• Manage and analyse data flows and integrations using GraphQL and Elasticsearch.
• Act as the primary operational focal point for external vendors and partners.
• Lead and coordinate operational and incident review meetings with vendors, demonstrating an assertive and structured approach.
• Monitor and enforce SLA compliance, following up on deviations and corrective actions.
• Investigate and resolve billing and reporting incidents, working closely with internal teams and external providers.
• Produce operational documentation, incident reports and service performance summaries.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across operational processes and tooling.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an Operations, Platform Operations or Technical Analyst role, preferably in telecommunications or M2M/IoT environments.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Linux (RedHat) in production environments.
• Practical scripting experience using Bash and Python.
• Experience working with GraphQL APIs and Elasticsearch for flow management, querying and analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate external vendors and service providers.
• Experience leading meetings with external partners in an assertive and results‑driven manner.
• Solid understanding of SLAs, service monitoring and incident management.
• Experience diagnosing billing and reporting issues in complex system landscapes.
• Ability to understand and operate within multi‑system, highly integrated environments.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Comfortable working in international and cross‑functional teams.
