Devoteam seeks a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our nearshore international project. You will design, build and maintain scalable full-stack apps and high-throughput APIs using React, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript in an international Agile environment.

You will modernize core platforms into a cloud-native, event-driven microservices ecosystem on AWS, working with React, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript across multiple countries.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building enterprise-grade full-stack web applications.
• Strong proficiency in React.js, Next.js, HTML5, CSS3, and strict TypeScript.
• Deep hands-on experience with Node.js (Express.js or NestJS) and microservices architecture.
• Solid experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, ECS, Lambda, IAM).
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
• Proficiency in automated testing tools such as Jest, Vitest, or TestContainers.
• Professional fluency in spoken and written English.

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our nearshore team for an Internationalproject. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable full-stack applications and high-throughput APIs. You will play a key role in modernizing core platforms and transitioning legacy architectures into a cloud-native, event-driven microservices ecosystem in AWS, working directly with React, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript in an international Agile environment

Key Responsibilities

Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust frontend applications and scalable backend microservices using React, Next.js, Node.js (Express/NestJS), and TypeScript.

Architecture & API Design: Build resilient, high-performance REST and GraphQL APIs, implementing clean architecture and event-driven design patterns.

Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps: Deploy, containerize, and manage applications on AWS using Docker, Kubernetes, and automated CI/CD pipelines.

Database Management: Design and optimize relational and NoSQL database models (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis) to ensure data integrity and high availability.

Code Quality & Testing: Implement comprehensive automated unit, integration, and E2E testing strategies using modern testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest, Playwright, TestContainers).

Production Incident & Monitoring: Monitor production environments, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and participate in incident response to maintain platform reliability.

Agile Collaboration: Work within a cross-functional international Agile/Scrum team, actively participating in technical specification refinement, code reviews, and architectural discussions.

Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building enterprise-grade full-stack web applications.

Frontend Mastery: Strong proficiency in React.js, Next.js, HTML5, CSS3, and strict TypeScript.

Backend Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with Node.js (Express.js or NestJS) and microservices architecture.

Cloud Platforms: Solid experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, ECS, Lambda, IAM).

Containerization & CI/CD: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI).

Database & Messaging: Proven experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis) and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS).

Testing & Quality Assurance: Proficiency in automated testing tools such as Jest, Vitest, or TestContainers.

Language Skills: Professional fluency in spoken and written English.
