Main duties
  • Develop and execute growth strategies focused on independent supermarkets including key independent retail groups such as Intermarché, Coviran, Amanhecer
  • Conduct field research and market development focused on the Portugal managing daily activity throughout the country
  • Build and maintain strong, problem-solving client relationships at store manager level across multiple supermarket formats.
  • Deliver a high-activity schedule aiming for set amount of meetings per day with impactful negotiation skills sensitive to store-level challenges.
  • Coordinate contract preparation and ensure compliance with company and legal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, revenue tracking, and after-sales support.
Candidate's Profile
  • Solid commercial experience within the supermarket retail sector in Portugal, with hands-on knowledge of retail chains like Intermarché, Coviran, Amanhecer
  • Dynamic, self-starter with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, able to understand challenges from store managers upwards.
  • Excellent communication in Portuguese and planning skills with proficiency in MS Office and business-level English (B2+/C1).
  • Flexible field-based working style to cover a demanding day target with corresponding administrative duties.
  • EU driving licence
Compensation

OTE €60000 per annum with strong emphasis on performance-based incentives
