Access Talent Group is seeking a SCADA & Substation Automation Engineer to join a growing team delivering HV/MV substation projects for hyperscale data centre developments in Europe. The role focuses on design, configuration and integration of SCADA and automation systems across greenfield and brownfield substations, working with protection, primary and secondary design engineers.

Qualificações

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience designing SCADA or Substation Automation Systems within HV/MV substations.
• Knowledge of IEC 61850 and substation communication architectures.
• Experience with industrial communication protocols: IEC 60870-5-104, DNP3, Modbus.

Responsabilidades

• Design SCADA and Substation Automation Systems for HV/MV substations.
• Produce SCADA architecture, communication network layouts and system design documentation.
• Configure and integrate RTUs, HMIs, gateways and communication equipment.
• Develop interfaces using IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104, DNP3, Modbus and others.
• Prepare functional design specs, signal lists and I/O databases.
• Coordinate with Protection & Control, Primary Design and Commissioning teams.
• Support FAT and SAT activities with commissioning engineers.
• Ensure designs meet customer specs & standards.
• Review technical docs and support continuous improvement.
