Ferring Pharmaceuticals is seeking a MTS Data Analyst to transform operational and quality data into actionable insights within a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting. You will design and maintain a scalable Power BI reporting landscape, automate reporting, and drive continuous improvement across a network of sites.

The role requires strong data modelling, DAX, SQL, and experience with cloud platforms like Azure.

Qualificações

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards in an operational environment (manufacturing, supply chain, quality, regulated industry preferred).
  • Strong skills in data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and dashboard performance optimization.
  • Good working knowledge of SQL (required); experience with data platforms (e.g., Azure, Snowflake, Databricks) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical thinking, structured problem solving, and attention to detail.
  • Storytelling with data: ability to simplify complex topics and influence decisions.
  • Ownership mindset: proactive, hands‑on, and delivery‑focused.

Responsabilidades

  • Assess and prioritize Technical Operations data needs and translate requirements into a prioritized analytics backlog.
  • Build, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports (data modeling, DAX measures, performance optimization).
  • Contribute to Power BI governance and harmonization across sites/functions (KPIs, templates, datasets).
  • Develop data visualizations and analyses to support TechOps strategy and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Automate refresh, distribution, and recurring reporting processes to reduce manual effort.
  • Identify reporting/process improvement opportunities, track adoption, and measure impact.
  • Ensure data access control, traceability, and data integrity in a regulated environment.

Ferring+You

You will be an integral part of the team responsible for driving processes robustness in the Manufacturing Technology and Science (MTS) and for leading data analysis to create business cases and investigation. The team is at the forefront of managing performance across 15 manufacturing sites worldwide and leads cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing the overall network performance.

As a Data Analyst in our pharmaceutical environment, you will play a key role in transforming operational and quality data into actionable insights. You will assess and prioritize department data needs, design and maintain a scalable Power BI reporting landscape, and automate data reporting to improve performance, decision-making, and continuous improvement across our network.

Your day at Ferring

In this context, you will play a critical role in:

  • Assess and prioritize Technical Operations departments data needs: Assess department data needs, evaluate existing data sources, and translate requirements into a prioritized analytics backlog.
  • Build & maintain Power BI reporting: Develop, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports (data modeling, DAX measures, performance optimization, UX).
  • Standardize Power BI landscape: Contribute to Power BI governance and harmonization across sites/functions (common KPIs, templates, certified datasets, documentation).
  • Data Visualization and Analysis: Develop compelling data visualizations and analysis to support TechOps strategy, translating complex data into actionable insights. Build business cases and support investigation by leveraging Ferring's data.
  • Automate reporting: Automate refresh, distribution, and recurring reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
  • Drive continuous improvement: Identify reporting/process improvement opportunities, track adoption, and measure impact.
  • Ensure compliance & data integrity: Apply access control, traceability, and data integrity expectations appropriate for a regulated environment.

This role presents a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in working in a dynamic pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. You will also have the opportunity to with our data analysis team to translate data into business insights.

To carry‑out these tasks you will be expected to quickly adapt to the Ferring data management and new tools such as Power BI. You will be given an important autonomy to come up with design and improvement ideas but will be guided and supported by the team every step of the way.

You need to be:
