About Infinity Games
Location: Odivelas, Lisbon, Portugal
Hybrid: Tuesday to Thursday in the office, Monday and Friday from home
Type: Full-time
Level: Mid-level preferred (2-4 years), outstanding recent graduates with real monetization experience also considered
We're a Lisbon-based mobile games studio. Our games are played by millions of people around the world, and every one of those players sits on the other side of a number we look at every single day: ARPDAU, eCPM, IAP conversion, LTV, retention.
The role
As Monetization Manager, you own how our games make money. That means the ad side (mediation, waterfalls, networks, eCPM, fill rate), the in-app purchase side (offers, pricing, store placement), and the analysis that tells us which of the two is leaving money on the table this week.
You'll work closely with Product, UA and Finance, and you'll report directly to the CEO.
What you'll do
- Own day-to-day monetization performance across our portfolio: ad revenue, IAP revenue, ARPDAU, eCPM and fill rate by network and geo
- Manage our ad network and mediation relationships (AppLovin, ironSource/Unity, AdMob, Meta, Liftoff and others): setup, optimization, troubleshooting and commercial follow-up
- Design and run A/B tests on ad placements, frequency, rewarded flows, IAP offers and pricing, and defend the conclusions with data
- Build and maintain the monetization reporting: weekly performance, revenue per network and per currency, forecast vs. actual
- Reconcile network revenue reports with what actually lands, and flag discrepancies before Finance does
- Spot the opportunities nobody asked you about: an underperforming geo, a placement with a broken funnel, a network paying below benchmark
- Keep us honest on benchmarks: know what good looks like in our genre and tell us when we're below it
Who we're looking for
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in monetization: mobile games, apps, e-commerce or any ads/subscription business. This is what we look at first
- Bachelor's or Master's in Economics, Management, Finance or a related quantitative field: ISCTE, Nova SBE, ISEG, Católica and equivalent programmes
- You've owned revenue numbers yourself, not just reported on someone else's: you've run the tests, argued for the changes and lived with the results
- If you've just graduated but have genuinely monetized something: a solid internship, a working student role, a game or app of your own - apply anyway. We'd rather see the work than the years
- Genuinely comfortable with numbers: you can build the analysis yourself, not just read someone else's dashboard
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, clean models)
- Fluent English, written and spoken (most of our partners are international)
- Structured, curious and stubborn about getting to the actual answer
- You play games or at the very least you're genuinely interested in how they work as products
Nice to have
- Experience with ad mediation platforms (AppLovin MAX, LevelPlay, AdMob) & mobile analytics (Firebase, Adjust, AppsFlyer, Amplitude)
- Previous experience in mobile gaming, apps, e-commerce or any subscription/ads business
What we offer
- Competitive salary, matched to the experience you bring
- Real ownership of a P&L line from day one, in a team small enough that your work is visible
- Direct exposure to leadership and to how the business is actually run
- Hybrid by default: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday together in the Lisbon office, Monday and Friday from home
- Company retreat: the whole team, out of the office
- Budget and time for learning: courses, conferences and the tools you need to get better at this
- A growing studio, where the scope of the role grows with the company
- A relaxed, low-ego environment: direct feedback, no politics, and "let's test it" as a normal answer
