Metyis is seeking a data scientist in Porto to translate business problems into analytical solutions and deploy ML models using modern tools. You will work with Databricks, Azure, or similar cloud infra and apply Python, PySpark, and ML libraries for data transformation and evaluation.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, strong communication, and a 0–3 year experience profile in a fast-growing, international setting.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, Applied Mathematics, CS or Engineering).
• 0–3 years of experience in data science or advanced analytics.
• Proven ability to manage lifecycle from data wrangling to production deployment.

Responsabilidades

• Translate business problems into analytical solutions from requirements to deployment and monitoring.
• Build, deploy, and maintain ML models (e.g., churn, CLV, segmentation, personalization).
• Leverage Databricks, Azure, or similar cloud infra for scalable data processing and model hosting.
• Use Python, PySpark, and ML libraries to transform data and build models.
• Apply statistical methods to validate performance and derive actionable insights.
• Communicate findings clearly with storytelling and visualizations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support agile work methods.
