Expleo Group in Portugal is seeking a skilled Backend/Java Developer to join our innovative engineering and consulting team in Lisbon. You will design and deliver microservices, REST APIs, and GraphQL interfaces, focusing on scalable, secure architectures.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, work with AWS SQS, and ensure robust authentication and authorization flows, while communicating clearly in English to solve problems and ship high‑quality software.

Qualificações

• 3–4+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong Java, microservices, REST APIs, and GraphQL.
• Experience with authentication/authorization flows.
• Experience with event-driven development and messaging systems.
• AWS Cloud (SQS) experience.
• Good English communication and collaboration.

Essential Skills

• Professional experience (3–4+ years) as a Backend Developer, Java Developer, or in similar roles;
• Strong proficiency in Java, microservices, REST APIs, and GraphQL;
• Solid knowledge of authentication and authorization flows;
• Professional experience with event-driven development as well as messaging systems;
• Professional experience with AWS Cloud (SQS);
• Good communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate, solve problems, and pay attention to detail.
