Q-Storage in Porto is seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator for a part-time role with accommodation available. You will read blueprints, cut, shape and bend metal, and weld components using TIG, MIG or ARC methods.

You will inspect finished work for quality and follow safety protocols while collaborating with the team to deliver projects on schedule. Based in Porto, this position welcomes applicants from any nationality legally allowed to work in Portugal.

Metal Fabricator

We are searching for an experienced Metal Fabricator to join our team in Porto! As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for creating and repairing metal structures and components according to specifications. This is a part-time position with the possibility of accommodation and urgent start.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine requirements
• Cut, shape, and bend metal using various tools such as saws, shears, presses, and drills
• Weld or join metal pieces together using welding techniques such as TIG, MIG or ARC welding
• Ensure all work meets quality standards by inspecting finished products for defects
• Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role
• Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings
• Skilled in using various hand tools and machinery for cutting, shaping, and bending metal
• Experience with welding techniques such as TIG, MIG or ARC welding
• Familiarity with different types of metals and their properties
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Physical stamina to handle manual labor tasks for extended periods of time

Location: This position is based in Porto but we welcome applications from candidates of any nationality who are legally allowed to work in Portugal.

Salary: We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per month along with the possibility of accommodation.
