GBL Tech is seeking a MERN Fullstack Developer to join a product-focused engineering team building modern, scalable applications. You will work across the full development lifecycle, using Node.js and React with MongoDB and PostgreSQL to deliver robust software solutions.

Your mission includes end-to-end feature development, backend REST APIs with Nest.js/Express.js, frontend with React (Next.js ideal), and implementing automated tests within Agile practices.

Qualificações

The Role

We're looking for a MERN Fullstack Developer to join a product-focused engineering team building modern, scalable applications. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full development lifecycle, combining Node.js and React with both NoSQL and relational databases to deliver robust, high-quality software solutions.

Your Mission:

Fullstack Development: Design and develop end-to-end application features across both backend and frontend, working with Node.js and React.

Backend Engineering: Build scalable services and REST APIs using Nest.js and/or Express.js, with a preference for Nest.js-based architectures.

Frontend Development: Create modern, responsive user experiences with React, ideally leveraging Next.js for high-performance applications.

Data & Integration: Work with MongoDB and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, ensuring reliable data modelling and efficient application integration.

Quality & Delivery: Implement automated unit and integration testing, contribute to Agile development practices, and continuously improve the quality and maintainability of the codebase.

Engineering Evolution: Contribute to modern delivery practices through CI/CD, containerisation, cloud technologies, and other engineering best practices.

What We Are Looking For:

Fullstack Expertise: 4+ years of professional software development experience, with strong hands-on experience across frontend and backend technologies.

Backend Skills: 3+ years with Node.js, particularly Nest.js and/or Express.js.

Frontend Expertise: 3+ years working with React, ideally with Next.js.

Database Knowledge: Practical experience with MongoDB and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.

API & Testing: Strong experience designing REST APIs and implementing automated testing strategies.

Engineering Practices: Familiarity with Agile methodologies, with additional exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, DevOps, and AWS considered a strong advantage.

Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills in both Portuguese and English.
