Job summary

Wire IT is a Portugal-based IT consulting partner with 18 years of experience. We are seeking a Mendix Developer to work remotely from Portugal. The role requires strong Mendix expertise, Agile knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with international teams.

You will develop, maintain, and enhance production-grade Mendix applications, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and contribute to a high-quality, scalable product suite. English proficiency is mandatory.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Mendix application development.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing production-grade Mendix applications.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and participation in Agile ceremonies.
• Experience managing development backlogs and delivering features in collaboration with developers and business stakeholders.
• Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining application features.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, with a focus on application quality, performance, and continuous improvement.
• Experience working with international, cross-functional teams.
• Good knowledge of English is mandatorily.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Mendix applications in production environments.
