CostaTerra Club, operated by Discovery Land Company, seeks a Member Experience Supervisor to oversee MX operations and guest engagement on the Atlantic coast resort in Portugal. You will lead the MX team, plan events, and ensure unforgettable experiences across CostaTerra.

The role requires strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to deliver exceptional member service and seamless event execution.

The Member Experience Supervisor plays a key role in delivering unparalleled daily experiences for members and guests. This position supports the Member Experience and Events Manager by overseeing Member Experience (MX) team operations, coordinating events and activations, and ensuring seamless execution across all touchpoints. The Supervisor combines strong organizational skills with creativity to curate memorable moments while maintaining high service standards and helps train and support the MX team to best deliver exceptional and unforgettable experiences across Costaterra.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Operations

• Supervise and support the Member Experience team in daily operations.
• Assist with team scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
• Lead daily briefings and contribute to weekly departmental meetings.
• Ensure all reports, updates, and communications are accurate and timely.

Member Experience & Engagement

• Build strong relationships with members and guests, ensuring personalized service.
• Support member onboarding, profiles, and ongoing engagement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to create "wow moments" and elevate the member journey.
• Maintain up-to-date member preferences and feedback.

Events & Activations

• Coordinate and execute club events and activations, from planning to delivery.
• Assist in developing event concepts, timelines, budgets, and BEOs.
• Liaise with vendors and internal departments to ensure smooth execution.
• Host events and ensure a high level of service and engagement.

Administration & Coordination

• Prepare and update event documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Support budgeting processes, purchase orders, and invoice tracking.
• Maintain organization of department files, systems, and supplies.
• Ensure all deadlines and project timelines are met.

Collaboration

• Work closely with other departments (Member Services, F&B, Golf, Sales, Marketing) to ensure seamless experiences.
• Support cross-departmental initiatives and special projects as required.

Skills and Qualifications in the Role

• Previous experience in client-facing hospitality, Member Experience and/or events required.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• People driven and able to inspire and motivate team members and to utilize individual skillsets to the greatest ultimate gain.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Canva, Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop knowledge is a plus.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail.
• Positive, professional, and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when needed.
