Ergomed invites applications for a role in Medical Information to develop knowledge in pharmacovigilance and expand the medical information function. You will handle inquiries in English and Italian, provide accurate responses, and collaborate with physicians and client teams to ensure high quality information delivery.

The role emphasizes customer service, attention to detail, and independent problem solving, with options to participate in out-of-hours support for 24/7 services.

Qualificações

  • Degree in life sciences or related field with experience preferred.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English and Italian required or highly proficient.

Responsabilidades

  • Handle medical information enquiries in English and Italian.
  • Assist in pharmacovigilance activities, including intake of adverse events.
  • Provide approved responses to medical enquiries from external customers and internal departments.
  • Support call-center activities as part of the Medical Information team.
  • Prepare literature-based responses and collaborate with physicians for accuracy.
  • Support out-of-hours medical information services for contracted clients.

The role is ideal for a confident and enthusiastic individual who is looking to develop their knowledge of Medical Information. They willassistin the growth of a medical information department in the service provider industry. Knowledge of pharmacovigilance is also an advantage.

  • Responsiblefor handling medical information enquiries in English and Italian
  • Responsible for pharmacovigilance activities, such as initial intake of adverse events
  • To provide approved responses to medical enquiries from external customers including healthcare professionals and patients as well as assisting the pharmaceutical clients’ internal departments with queries where required. This includes acting as a call handling agent as part of the Medical Information dedicated call center;
  • To prepare responses to enquiries based on research in the literature and collaboration with physicians both internally and with pharmaceutical client internal departments, if applicable;
  • To participate in the out-of-hours provision of medical information for clients who have contracted a 24/7 enquiry handling service
  • An undergraduate degree in life sciencesor equivalent advanced degree with experience.
  • Customer service experience is an advantage
  • Fluency in both English and Italian
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Independent problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Process oriented and critical thinking
  • Responsible approach to work duties
