Bosch Service Solutions S.A. in Lisbon develops mobility engineering services and eBike products. We seek a Mechanical Engineer to advance DFMA, develop assembly processes, and support mass production ramp-up with global partners.

You will analyze product needs and ensure mechanical designs meet manufacturing constraints while coordinating with development and manufacturing teams worldwide. English fluency is required.

Qualificações

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Automation, or related field
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required
• Experience with mechanical design, GD&T and manufacturing processes is expected

Responsabilidades

• Develop and validate advanced assembly processes and manufacturing technologies
• Support industrialization and mass production ramp-up with internal and external partners
• Analyze product requirements to ensure designs meet manufacturing constraints
• Lead DFMA reviews to enable seamless prototype-to-production transition
• Coordinate alignment between development departments and manufacturing partners worldwide

Develop andvalidateadvanced assembly processes and innovative manufacturing technologies alongside internal and external partners.

Support the industrialization phaseand mass production ramp-up by evaluating process requirements, line readiness, and process robustness on the shop floor.

Analyze product requirements holistically, ensuring that mechanical product designs are fullyoptimizedto meet manufacturing and assembly constraints.

Lead and coordinatecomprehensive Design for Manufacturing and Assembly(DFMA) reviewsto guarantee a seamless transition from prototype to mass production.

Coordinate technical alignmentbetween development departments and manufacturing partners worldwide.

What distinguishes you:

Education

University degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Automation, or related technical discipline

Experience and Know-how

Industry Experience:More than 5 years of proven professional experience in mechanical design, process development, automation, or industrialization.

Manufacturing Technologies:Strong knowledge of diverse mechanical assembly processes, such as plastic injection molding, welding, gluing, taping, and automated assembly systems.

3D Design & Tolerancing:Solid experience in 3D CAD modeling and technical drawing creation, with advanced knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).PracticalexperiencewithPTC CREOishighlypreferred.

Partner Coordination:Demonstratedexperience coordinating development, tooling, and manufacturing partners.

Domain Expertise:Prior experience or interest in consumer electronics, outdoor hardware products, smart displays, ECUs, or IoT devices, is considered a plus.

Languages

Fluency in English (written and spoken).
