Job summary

Carrier/Addvolt seeks a Mechanical Engineer focused on vehicle applications and sustainability to join Systems & Application. You will translate customer requirements into robust integration concepts and support product improvements across design, validation, and field deployment.

The role interfaces with multiple teams and requires practical problem solving, customer orientation, and a commitment to cleaner transport solutions. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in mechanical design and vehicle integration.
• Proficient in 3D CAD; Creo preferred.
• Knowledge of sheet metal, plastics, fasteners, and tolerances.
• Strong English communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assess requirements and translate into mechanical specifications.
• Develop integration concepts for Carrier/Addvolt systems.
• Create 3D models and drawings using Creo; support documentation.
• Perform feasibility studies and design reviews for OEM integrations.
• Apply DFx and sustainability principles to solutions.
• Support prototypes, installations, testing and field validation.
