Advannor Engineering Lda in Porto is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our intralogistics team. You will design material handling systems, conveyors, AS/RS, and palletizing equipment, collaborating with international project teams to meet client requirements.

You'll detail 2D/3D CAD designs, create BOMs and drawings, and work with automation engineers to integrate controls and WMS/WCS. Strong English communication, precise documentation, and a solution-focused mindset are essential

Qualificações

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience or strong interest in material handling / intralogistics systems.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks).
• Excellent communication in English, spoken and written.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Collaborative with automation and controls teams on integrated designs.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and detail mechanical designs for material handling and warehouse automation in 2D/3D CAD.
• Design components and subassemblies for conveyors, sortation, AS/RS, and palletizers.
• Support integration between mechanical design and control/WMS-WCS systems with automation engineers.
• Participate in concept development, design reviews, and client discussions.
• Prepare and maintain design documentation, BOMs, and drawings.
• Understand client layout, throughput, and operating requirements.
