Advannor Engineering Lda in Porto is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our intralogistics team. You will design material handling systems, conveyors, AS/RS, and palletizing equipment, collaborating with international project teams to meet client requirements.

You'll detail 2D/3D CAD designs, create BOMs and drawings, and work with automation engineers to integrate controls and WMS/WCS. Strong English communication, precise documentation, and a solution-focused mindset are essential

Qualificações

Mechanical Design Engineer – Intralogistics

About the Role We're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our intralogistics engineering team. You'll work on the design of material handling systems — from conveyors and sortation to automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS) and palletizing solutions — supporting clients across warehousing and distribution automation. You'll be part of a growing, specialized team, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary and often international project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and detail mechanical designs for material handling and warehouse automation systems in 2D and 3D CAD (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar).

Design components and subassemblies for conveyors, sortation systems, AS/RS, and palletizing equipment.

Support integration between mechanical design and control/WMS-WCS systems, working closely with automation engineers.

Participate in concept development, design reviews, and technical discussions with clients and internal stakeholders.

Prepare and maintain design documentation, BOMs, and technical drawings.

Maintain a clear understanding of client layout, throughput, and operational requirements.

What We're Looking For

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
