Advannor Engineering LDA in Portugal is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our intralogistics team. You will design material handling systems—conveyors, sortation, AS/RS, and palletizing equipment—using 2D/3D CAD and collaborating with international project teams.

Responsibilities include detailing components, maintaining BOMs and drawings, supporting integration with control/WMS-WCS systems, and participating in concept development and client discussions.

Qualificações

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Mechanical Design Engineer – Intralogistics

About the Role We’re looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our intralogistics engineering team. You’ll work on the design of material handling systems — from conveyors and sortation to automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS) and palletizing solutions — supporting clients across warehousing and distribution automation. You’ll be part of a growing, specialized team, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary and often international project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and detail mechanical designs for material handling and warehouse automation systems in 2D and 3D CAD (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar).

Design components and subassemblies for conveyors, sortation systems, AS/RS, and palletizing equipment.

Support integration between mechanical design and control/WMS-WCS systems, working closely with automation engineers.

Participate in concept development, design reviews, and technical discussions with clients and internal stakeholders.

Prepare and maintain design documentation, BOMs, and technical drawings.

Maintain a clear understanding of client layout, throughput, and operational requirements.

What We’re Looking For
