Antoniq Robotics is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with robotics experience to own the mechanical design end-to-end for our field-ready robots, from CAD to deployment.

You will work with suppliers, manage BOMs, ensure robust assembly, and collaborate with embedded systems and software teams to integrate sensors and wiring. This role involves field deployments, certification support, and iterative design improvements in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualificações

• 3+ years in mechanical design or product engineering (robotics, machinery, or industrial equipment preferred).
• Strong proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or equivalent).
• Experience managing BOMs and working with suppliers/manufacturers.
• Hands-on experience with assembly and building physical products.
• A pull toward the physical world; comfortable in the field during real-world deployments.
• Exposure to product certification processes (CE marking, machinery directive, etc.) is a strong plus.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work across multiple workstreams in a fast-moving startup.

Responsabilidades

• Own the design of mechanical components and assemblies for the robot, managing CAD through multiple product iterations.
• Take ownership of the BOM, ensuring accuracy, version control, and alignment with procurement and production.
• Work directly with suppliers - sourcing components, requesting quotes, managing lead times, and building strong relationships.
• Support and improve assembly processes, creating clear documentation and getting hands-on where needed.
• Spend time in the field - deployments, customer sites, and trials to understand real-world performance.
• Collaborate closely with embedded systems and software teams to ensure seamless integration of sensors, wiring, and hardware.
• Support product certification (CE marking, machinery directive), contributing to technical documentation and compliance testing.
• Identify and implement design improvements based on field feedback, manufacturing constraints, and cost optimisation.

We’re looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to own the physical product end to end — from CAD through assembly, supplier engagement, and real-world deployment.
