Winthrop Technologies Ltd in Sines, Portugal, seeks a Mechanical Commissioning Manager to lead the Mechanical Cx package on major data centre projects. You will supervise engineers, drive the CX programme, manage vendor FAT/FWT, and ensure alignment with QAQC and AP teams.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree, strong problem-solving ability, and a track record in Commercial/Industrial/data centre environments.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar role within a construction environment with experience in Commercial, Industrial, pharma, data centre type projects.
• Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant training and experience.
• Process driven with focus on EHS and Quality Work Management Systems and Processes.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and supervise Mechanical Cx Package engineers.
• Coordinate Mechanical Cx Programme including milestones and deadlines.
• Ensure familiarisation with contract documents and procedures.
• Plan and manage Vendor FAT/FWT and attend if necessary.
• Coordinate CX scope with CX vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit Mechanical Cx progress and technical reports.
• Align with QAQC and AP departments to achieve objectives.
• Deliver and obtain approval on Mechanical Cx documents and sign-offs.

We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Manager to join our expanding team to be based in Sines, Portugal.

Responsibilities:

• Management and supervision of Mechanical Cx Package engineers
• Management of project Cx Programme including Milestone and deadline management
• Ensure familiarisation and compliance with contract documents and procedures
• Planning and management of Vendor FAT/ FWT with possible attendance if necessary
• Management of CFCI and OFCI vendors CX Scope
• Communication to all Electrical Cx Stakeholders
• Attend and provide input to Daily/ Weekly Cx meetings, Internally, vendor and Client
• Form, update and submission of Electrical Cx Progress and technical reports to line manager
• Coordination and alignment with Project QAQC Dept to achieve common objectives
• Coordination and alignment with Project AP Dept to achieve common objectives
• Manage, deliver and obtain approval on relevant project Mechanical Cx documents such as Test Scripts, Compliance statements etc
• Manage the receipt, review and compliance of project CX documentation to achieve the necessary CX level sign off
• Monitor and manage delivery of scope
• Communication of deadlines and Cx programme Milestone

Requirements

• Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant training and experience
• Process driven candidate and focus on EHS and Quality Work Management Systems and Processes is desirable
• Solves problems analytically and acts decisively
• Minimum of 7 Years' experience in a similar role within a construction environment with experience in Commercial, Industrial, pharma, data centre type projects is desirable
