YOUR ROLE
As a Data Scientist, you will perform data analysis for various Manufacturing Engineering Processes, such as Ultrasonic welding, Torque machines, ROB, Crimping or other processes designated by the company. Find insights and patterns hidden inside the data and proactively engage with management and team to explore the findings and drive organizational value.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design & Architecture
- Analyze historical data to identify patterns, trends, and insights and compare Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Preprocess and clean data for machine learning applications
- Create effective feature engineering pipelines for time series data
- Validate data quality and handle missing or anomalous data
- Visualize data and results to communicate findings effectively
Algorithm Development and Implementation
- Apply statistical and mathematical approaches to time series analysis and forecasting
- Implement and optimize machine learning algorithms using Python and relevant frameworks
- Realize benchmark on model performance
- Document methodologies, experiments, and results
Collaboration and Deployment
- Proactively engage with management and team to explore the findings and drive organizational value
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute to team discussions and planning sessions
Learning & Development
- Stay aware of latest developments in data science, machine learning
- Experiment with new techniques and frameworks under guidance; participate in internal training and skill development activities
- Document learnings and share knowledge with the team
- Gradually expand expertise across different ML domains, like Causal ML
YOUR BACKGROUND
- 0-2 years in a relevant project
- Experience in Machine Learning Fundamentals and Data visualization techniques
- Intermediate knowledge in Scikit-Learn, Streamlit, Seaborn, Numpy, Pandas, SQL, Plotly and StatsModel and Python
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders in dynamic, cross-functional environments
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree (preferred) in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, Engineering
- Intermediate experience in Data Analysis
- Advanced knowledge in mathematics and Statistics
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
