The Institute of Systems and Robotics of the University of Coimbra (ISR-UC) opens a call for one Research Grant at Master level for a student enrolled or willing to enroll in a PhD, under the BCI4ALL project. The grant supports research in Brain-Computer Interfaces and neuroparadigms, with strong ML/DL components.

The regime is exclusive dedication, with a stipend of €1,359.64 per month, and supervision by ISR-UC professors.

Formación

• Master’s degree in one of the above Scientific Area, preferably with interest in pursuing a doctoral programme at ISR-UC in Brain-Computer Interfaces.
• Knowledge of EEG, neurophysiology, ML and DL; experience in programming with Matlab and Python.
• Enrolment in doctoral program at University of Coimbra at contract signing, with supervision aligned to project.

Responsabilidades

• Develop neuroparadigms for neurophysiological assessment of consciousness in DoC/Locked-In State.
• Develop ML and DL algorithms to identify neurophysiological biomarkers.
• Develop session-independent models for BCI spelling and brain-to-speech interfaces.
