Founded in 2017 by ex-investment banking professionals, Silverlight Research is a fast-growing knowledge research firm headquartered on Buckingham Palace Road, Westminster, London. Our clients include many of the largest Tier 1 global investment banks, private equity funds, hedge funds, corporates, and consultancies. They are leading decision-makers at these firms, and turn to Silverlight when they lack the knowledge or information to move forward on strategic and investment decisions. We bring commercial acumen and a dedicated approach to every project to understand our clients’ questions and find the precise in-industry senior experts who can offer valuable insights. These experts are often current or former, leading C-suite level executives in multinational firms.
Through our introductions between clients and industry experts, we facilitate connections that provide invaluable insights and assist in key decision-making and deals.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and entrepreneurial individual to join a growing and successful knowledge broking and research firm. As an Analyst, you will serve as the connection point between our clients and industry experts. You will be given responsibilities early on and will have significant direct involvement with senior executives and clients. The role involves conducting intelligent online research, mapping sectors across various industries and geographies, and sourcing senior industry experts—often CEOs or CFOs—who can address our clients' questions.
You will spend considerable time reaching out to these industry experts via phone and email to discuss projects. Projects will span a broad range of industries and geographies. This is a fast-paced, communication-intensive, client-facing role focused on results and revenue generation. Analysts develop skills in negotiation, professional communication, project management, client service, and training, paving their way to careers in commercial and operational leadership. Given the diversity of projects, analysts develop broad industry knowledge rather than sector-specific expertise.
With comprehensive support from an established team and a high level of autonomy, this position offers a genuinely attractive opportunity for capable undergraduates, graduates, or more experienced individuals to learn from ex-investment banking founders and grow rapidly as professionals. Expect to work hard, with long days, but be well rewarded as the company grows. High performers can quickly move into managing teams and client portfolios.
Our analysts receive a base salary plus an uncapped profit-sharing structure based on performance.
