Job description

See what you can do with Prophix

Finance teams across 100+ countries use Prophix One™ to replace manual processes with intelligent planning, reporting, and automation. We are a globally connected team and we are growing. If you are looking for a role where your work reaches customers across industries and borders, and where the people around you are invested in doing great work, this is worth reading.

We have teams and offices across Europe, North America, Brazil, and Australia. Trusted by more than 3,000 finance teams across 100+ countries, Prophix One™ is built for organisations that want to plan smarter and move faster.

As Manager, Professional Services, you'll lead a team of Consultants and Solution Architects delivering Prophix One implementations for finance teams across EMEA, balancing hands‑on coaching with oversight of project timelines, quality, and client outcomes. You'll join the Professional Services organization within Prophix's broader Customer Success function, working closely with Sales and Delivery leadership to keep engagements on track and clients successfully live on the platform. Your team's execution directly shapes retention and expansion (GRR/NRR) for the accounts you support.

What You Will Do
Delivery Management
  • Own end‑to‑end delivery health across a portfolio of Prophix One CPM/FP&A implementation and migration engagements across EMEA/UK — not just schedule adherence, but whether each engagement is on a trajectory to produce a renewable, referenceable customer.
  • Know when to escape and when not to: distinguish normal implementation friction from early warning signs of scope creep, stakeholder disengagement, or risk to go‑live — and raise the right issue to the right person before it becomes a renewal problem.
  • Hold the team accountable to delivery best practices and methodology — not as a compliance checkbox, but as the mechanism that prevents the predictable failure modes (unclear success criteria, weak CS handoff, slipping hypercare exit) that lead to mid‑term churn.
  • Actively watch for and intervene on churn risk during delivery — disengaged sponsors, missed milestones, shifting business priorities — and own the corrective action, not just the flag.
  • Keep stakeholders current through both written and verbal updates — concise, data‑forward status to clients and to internal leadership (PS, Sales, CS) that reflects real engagement health, not just RAG status on a tracker.
  • Maintain accurate, current data in delivery and reporting tools so portfolio health, capacity, and forecast are trustworthy at a glance — reporting hygiene is a delivery responsibility, not an afterthought.
  • Surface expansion opportunity uncovered during delivery (new use cases, adjacent pain points, underused modules) and route it to Sales/CS with enough context to act on it.
  • Close the feedback loop on scoping: when delivery reveals that an engagement was under‑scoped, mis‑estimated, or missing key assumptions, proactively flag it to your manager and to Sales so the pattern gets corrected upstream — not just absorbed as delivery pain on this one project.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for engagement risk, scope challenges, and client issues, bringing judgment on severity and the right next move, not just visibility.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Solutions Architects to ensure engagements are scoped, resourced, and executed to plan, and to close out projects as quickly as quality allows.
  • Contribute to delivery methodology, tooling, and process improvement across the EMEA/UK Professional Services organization — particularly where recurring issues point to a gap in the playbook.
People Management
  • Hire, onboard, develop, and retain a team of Professional Services consultants across EMEA & UK.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development conversations.
  • Coach the team on judgment, not just mechanics — when to elevate, how to read a stakeholder relationship, how to have the hard conversation early rather than late.
  • Provide hands‑on coaching on delivery quality, client communication, and technical problem‑solving.
  • Collaborate with the PS leadership team on capacity planning, resource allocation, and cross‑regional alignment.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with key client stakeholders, including CFOs, controllers, and FP&A leaders.
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Support to ensure seamless handoffs and a cohesive client experience.
  • Represent PS in pre‑sales conversations where delivery credibility and scoping input are required.
What You Will Bring

We hire for potential as much as experience. If this role excites you but you don't check every box, we still want to hear from you. At Prophix, people who ask good questions, adapt quickly, and bring a fresh perspective often make the biggest impact.

Required Qualifications
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years in a Professional Services or implementation delivery role within a SaaS or enterprise software environment.
  • 3+ years managing or leading a team, with demonstrated ability to develop people and drive performance.
  • Proven track record delivering complex, multi‑stakeholder software implementations on time and within scope.
  • Strong project management discipline - experienced overseeing concurrent implementations using structured planning tools (e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet, monday.com, or similar); comfortable running status calls, managing risks, and driving projects to completion.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - able to translate complex delivery situations into clear, concise updates for client, consultant, and senior leadership.
  • Self‑starter with a high degree of ownership - comfortable setting direction, identifying what needs to be done without being told, and driving initiatives through to completion in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Comfortable operating in structured planning tools (e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet, monday.com, or similar) as a means of keeping reporting and forecasting accurate — not as a primary skill of the role.
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve team productivity, streamline processes, or enhance delivery quality; comfortable embedding AI‑assisted workflows into day‑to‑day operations.
  • Experience working with finance teams and familiarity with FP&A, budgeting, or consolidation processes.
  • High proficiency in spoken and written English required. Proficiency in French and/or Dutch is a strong asset given the EMEA market scope.
  • Legally entitled to work in the country where the role is located. Able to travel internationally as required and hold a valid passport.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct experience implementing CPM or FP&A platforms, including Prophix, Anaplan, OneStream, Adaptive, or TM1
  • Experience with financial consolidation platforms such as Prophix FC, HFM, CCH Tagetik, or LucaNet
  • Familiarity with ERP integration patterns involving SAP, Unit4, or NetSuite
  • Experience managing partner co‑delivery engagements across distributed or international teams
What Success Looks Like
  • 30 days: You know our platform, our customers, and how your team operates. You’ve completed onboarding and are contributing to live work.
  • 90 days: You’re working independently, owning deliverables end to end, and building relationships across functions and regions.
  • 6 months: Your fingerprints are on something real. You’ve improved a process, shipped something meaningful, or earned a seat at the table on a decision that matters.
Why Join Prophix?

Joining Prophix means working as part of a genuinely global team with colleagues across Europe, North America, Brazil, and Australia who bring different perspectives and work on shared problems. You’ll build breadth: cross functional experience, international exposure, and direct access to customers in a range of industries. We invest in learning and development, support flexible and hybrid working, and give people real ownership from day one. Our values are Pursue Excellence, Build with Purpose, Create Wins for All, and Drive Continuous Innovation. These shape how we work, not just what we say.

  • Hybrid set‑up from our centrally‑located office with flexible working hours
  • A comprehensive benefit package tailored to your location
  • Total Wellness Benefit
  • Professional development support and financial assistance for learning
  • Opportunities to participate in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives
  • Quarterly Town Halls and Kickoffs that bring teams together to celebrate wins, share updates, and look ahead at what’s next
