Job Purpose
Lead the Maintenance function and ensure the reliability, availability and performance of the Site equipment and utilities.
The role is responsible for developing the maintenance team, improving preventive and predictive maintenance, controlling maintenance costs and supporting Production and Engineering in the continuous improvement of equipment and processes
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Maintenance team, ensuring clear responsibilities, priorities and accountability.
- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are properly planned and executed.
- Improve equipment reliability and availability through structured analysis of failures and recurring losses.
- Monitor and improve Maintenance KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, downtime, preventive maintenance compliance and maintenance cost.
- Manage Maintenance OPEX, spare parts, external services and contractor activities.
- Define priorities based on operational risk, equipment criticality and business needs.
- Support Production in troubleshooting and continuous improvement of equipment and manufacturing processes.
- Support Engineering and CAPEX projects, including technical evaluation, equipment selection, installation, commissioning and handover to Operations.
- Drive automation, energy efficiency and cost reduction opportunities.
- Ensure maintenance documentation, standards and procedures are defined, updated and followed.
- Support compliance with Safety, Quality and Site requirements.
- Develop structured root cause analysis and corrective actions for major or recurring equipment failures.
- Ensure appropriate use and development of the CMMS/EAM system and maintenance data.
- Build technical capability within the team and develop succession for critical roles.
Requirements/Skills
- Strong industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading Maintenance teams.
- Good knowledge of electrical, mechanical and industrial automation systems.
- Proven experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Experience managing maintenance costs, spare parts and external contractors.
- Good understanding of Maintenance KPIs, including MTBF and MTTR.
- Experience supporting equipment modifications, new machinery and production line improvements.
- Experience in continuous improvement and energy efficiency projects.
- Ability to work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality and EHS.
- Good problem-solving capability and ability to make priorities based on operational and business impact.
- Engineering degree or equivalent relevant technical background.
- Good level of English.
- Experience with CMMS/EAM systems and maintenance planning.
- Knowledge of structured reliability tools such as RCA, FMEA or RCM.
- Experience with CAPEX projects, equipment commissioning and technical acceptance.
- Experience in highly structured Quality or regulated manufacturing environments.
- Experience developing supervisors, engineers or technical successors.
