Role

Manager, Contracts & Pricing

Location: ACCP, Lisbon, PT / Breda, NL (Global CPO Team)

What you will do

Join Amgen’s Global CPO Team, an international group based across Breda (NL) and Lisbon (PT) that values collaboration, curiosity, learning, excellence, and having fun. As Manager, Contracts & Pricing, you will lead a high-performing team of Senior Associates to ensure timely and accurate contract and pricing execution across the ELMAC region. You will act as the team’s primary representative with ACCP leadership, ELMAC affiliates and cross-functional partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership & Daily Management
    • Lead and coach Senior Associates in Performance Tracking & Pricing to deliver accurate, on-time contract and pricing execution.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
    • Manage workload allocation, priorities and team ceremonies/meetings.
  • Strategy & Representation
    • Define and execute department goals and roadmap; align resources to priorities.
    • Represent the team with ACCP and CPO Leadership; communicate progress, risks and decisions.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Build productive partnerships with Affiliates, Global Value & Access, Finance/Accounting, DTI and Supply Chain.
    • Share best practices within CPO and across stakeholders; represent the team in cross-functional forums.
  • Project & Process Excellence
    • Lead and support strategic initiatives (system enhancements, process optimization, compliance projects).
    • Oversee complex cross-country/regional initiatives impacting contract and pricing execution.
    • Identify issues, develop improvements and present solutions to leadership.
  • Compliance & Governance
    • Ensure adherence to SOX controls, audit requirements and internal policies.
What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications
  • University degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Healthcare or related field.
  • 5+ years in Customer Service/Finance/Data Management/Supply Chain/Logistics or related areas.
  • 2+ years of people leadership experience.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Functional Skills
  • Additional European languages are a plus.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology environments.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Vistex, and/or Tableau; familiarity with IT development methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Proven success in global teams/matrix environments and cross-functional project leadership.
  • Strong process understanding, prioritization, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Analytical, structured problem-solving mindset.
