Qualificações

• 3–6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in construction or projects.
• Solid knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety and environmental legislation.

Responsabilidades

• Drive follow-up of projects on QEH&S matters and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain the Integrated Management System aligned with ISO standards.
• Assess workplace and project risks through site visits and prepare EHS Plans.
• Investigate workplace incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Implement and oversee fire safety and emergency measures.
• Deliver Health & Safety training and coordinate QEH&S audit activities.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and internal standards.
• Monitor and analyze QEH&S performance indicators and prepare reports.

We are looking for a Management Systems & QEH&S Engineer - you will play an important role in ensuring high standards of Quality, Environment, Health & Safety across our projects and operations.

Your role in our team

• You will drive the follow-up of projects on Quality, Environment, Health & Safety matters, collaborating with business areas to identify issues, implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
• You will develop and maintain the Integrated Management System, strengthening its effectiveness and ensuring alignment with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• You will assess workplace and project risks through regular site visits, identifying hazards, evaluating environmental aspects and impacts, and supporting the preparation and validation of EHS Plans.
• You will investigate workplace incidents and accidents, identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions, including occupational risk assessments and the definition of appropriate PPE.
• You will implement and oversee fire safety and emergency measures, including detection and extinguishing systems, emergency teams, training and drills.
• You will deliver Health & Safety training and coordinate QEH&S audit activities, ensuring the effective follow-up and implementation of resulting actions.
• You will ensure compliance with applicable Health & Safety legislation, regulatory requirements and internal standards, proactively identifying and addressing compliance gaps.
• You will monitor and analyse QEH&S performance indicators, preparing management reports and providing actionable insights to support informed decision-making.

Your profile

• You have a Degree in Engineering and a professional qualification as a Health & Safety Technician.
• You bring 3–6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a construction or project environment.
• You have solid knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• You have good knowledge of applicable Health & Safety and environmental legislation.
• You are familiar with audit techniques and their application in a management systems environment.
• You have good knowledge of MS Office.
• You have a good level of English.
• You preferably hold a Pedagogical Competences Certificate (PCC).
• You demonstrate strong analytical, organisational and communication skills, combined with a proactive and hands‑on approach.
• You enjoy working collaboratively with different teams and stakeholders in a dynamic, international environment.
