Job summary

BNP Paribas Cardif Portugal is seeking a Management Control Data Analyst in Porto to join the France Results Steering Team. You will prepare and monitor the constitution of the result for our French entities under management view, in line with French GAAP and IFRS 17, supporting multiple Business Units.

The role combines high technical requirements with a collaborative culture, focusing on data integrity, automation, and the design of dashboards for Business Unit Heads to monitor performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in Finance, Management Control or related roles.
• Advanced Excel knowledge mandatory.
• Knowledge of VBA / SaaS / Power BI / Power Query / Python is a plus.
• Experience in banking, insurance or consulting is advantageous.
• Fluent in English (C1); French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Extract accounting data from multiple platforms and consolidate to produce a French GAAP P&L under management view with high data integrity.
• Prepare technical result projections during Budget/MTB cycles using Excel and automated data processing.
• Perform analytical reviews and data reconciliations to support Financial Steering and Group reporting.
• Drive process improvement by automating manual tasks and collaborating with IT teams.
• Design dashboards for Business Unit Heads and monitor the gap between French GAAP and IFRS 17.
