Asenium is searching for a Machine Learning Specialist to join our team in a full-time hybrid capacity, based in Lisbon with options for remote days. The role includes developing ML models, conducting data analyses, and collaborating with teams on AI/ML opportunities.

The ideal candidate holds an MSc. or PhD in Data Science or Software Engineering and has proven experience in data analytics and building ML models. Strong skills in Python and knowledge of frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch are essential.

Asenium is looking for Machine Learning specialist to join our team.

In this role you:

This is a full-time, hybrid Machine Learning Engineer role located in Lisbon but with flexibility for some days of remote work. The Machine Learning Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing ML models, conducting data analysis, and designing and implementing algorithms that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of alternative solutions.

The Machine Learning Specialist will also collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to identify areas of opportunity for AI/ML.

The ideal candidate

• MSc. or PhD in Data Science or Software/Data Engineering
• Proven work experience as a data scientist, incl. at least 2 years of production-grade data analytics
• Proven experience in building models for time-series Forecasting.
• Knowledge of building Deep Learning and Machine Learning models.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch etc.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of cloud-based environments and Big Data technologies.
