We are seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing team in Almada. As a Machine Learning Engineer you will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing machine learning algorithms and models to solve complex business problems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, statistics and programming languages such as Python or R. This is a full‑time position with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement machine learning algorithms and models
• Gather and analyze large datasets to identify patterns and trends
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business requirements
• Develop data pipelines for efficient data ingestion and processing
• Implement data preprocessing techniques to improve model performance
• Train, validate and deploy machine learning models into production
• Monitor model performance and make necessary improvements
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest advancements in machine learning technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
• Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts such as regression, classification, clustering, etc.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R
• Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and retrieval
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch is a plus
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail

Location

This position is located in Almada. The city offers a beautiful coastal location with easy access to Lisbon. Candidates must have their own accommodation and valid work visa for Portugal.
