Job summary

Muehlhan Wind Service is seeking an LV/MV Cable Technician to join international projects. The role focuses on installation, termination, testing, and commissioning of LV/MV cable systems across major energy infrastructure projects.

You will work within an international team, performing tasks in line with technical specs, safety standards, and quality controls. The rotation is 3 weeks on site, followed by 1 week off in Portugal, with opportunities for growth in a dynamic wind energy environment.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems (mandatory).
• Experience routing, installing, and connecting LV/MV cables.
• Experience with LV/MV terminations and joints in factory and on-site settings.
• Experience with electrical testing: VLF, insulation resistance, and continuity tests.
• English language proficiency at least B1 (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Perform routing, installation, and connection of LV and MV power cables.
• Execute LV and MV cable terminations and joints in factory and on-site environments.
• Carry out electrical testing activities, including VLF, insulation, and continuity tests.
• Test and troubleshoot cable systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and documentation.
• Support commissioning activities and ensure project requirements.
• Maintain tools and work areas in a safe, organized condition.
• Ensure health, safety, environmental, and quality standards compliance.
• Identify and report technical issues to support delivery.
