PeakFleet in Lisbon invites applications for an Entry Level Librarian to support cataloging, reference services, and outreach. You will help organize library resources, assist patrons, and promote programs in a collaborative team environment.

The role welcomes recent grads with a focus on service, organization, and technology literacy, including ILS usage. Accommodation is provided with a supportive atmosphere to grow professionally in a vibrant city.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Customer-service oriented with excellent communication.
• Proficiency in using integrated library systems for cataloging and circulation.
• Knowledge of current technology trends in libraries such as social media and e-books.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with cataloging and classifying library materials using established standards.
• Maintain accurate records of library materials including circulation statistics and inventory.
• Provide reference and research assistance to library patrons in person, over the phone, and through online platforms.
• Develop and implement creative displays and events to promote library resources and services.
• Collaborate with other staff members on collection development, programming, and outreach initiatives.
• Keep up-to-date with current trends in librarianship and participate in professional development activities.
