Black & White Engineering in Lisbon is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead the design process on high-profile engineering projects. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage design delivery and maintain strong client relationships to ensure on-time, high-quality outcomes.

In this hybrid role, you will shape project governance, monitor risks and performance, and collaborate with internal groups and external partners to deliver solutions that meet our standards and client

Qualificações

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture or related discipline.
• Experience in design management for complex engineering projects.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams.
• Strong governance, design coordination and delivery processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• Knowledge of RIBA stages or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and support delivery of engineering design projects.
• Manage design programmes, workflows and deliverables across projects.
• Lead collaboration between internal teams, external consultants and design partners.
• Drive design coordination and team alignment for successful delivery.
• Manage project risks, change control, quality, cost and programme performance.
• Support project reporting, commercial tracking and document management.
• Lead project meetings and ensure actions are communicated.
• Review design outputs for compliance with requirements and standards.
• Support health and safety risk management in line with policies.
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Monitor external consultants and design partner performance.
• Ensure governance, QA and project controls are applied.
