D-Orbit is seeking a Senior Software Engineer & Team Lead for its Cybersecurity Business Unit in Lisbon, Portugal. You will provide technical leadership, shape architecture, and drive secure, scalable software deliveries while mentoring a security‑minded team.

You will collaborate across product, engineering, QA, and external stakeholders to deliver high‑quality cybersecurity solutions and foster growth within the team. On‑site roles require strong leadership and hands‑on involvement.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in software development and architecture design.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Deep understanding of microservices architectures for scalable systems.
• Hands‑on experience with modern DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for building scalable apps.
• Experience deploying and running on AWS.
• Strong Linux/UNIX knowledge.
• Leadership and Agile mindset; ability to mentor engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical direction and architecture decisions aligning with product goals and standards.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements across processes, workflows, and tooling.
• Oversee code quality, secure coding practices, and CI/CD pipelines; remove blockers.
• Lead and mentor a small security engineering team with a hands‑on approach.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end delivery across planning, design, execution, and deployment; manage risks and dependencies.
• Collaborate across engineering, product, QA, DevOps, and business teams to ensure alignment.
