A cybersecurity solutions provider is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to join the team in Lisbon or Porto, Portugal. This full-time hybrid role involves building and maintaining SOAR use cases, responding to security incidents, and mentoring junior analysts. Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience, with hands-on knowledge of Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR, Microsoft Sentinel, and FortiSIEM. Fluency in Portuguese and technical English is required, along with relevant certifications.

Job Title: Cybersecurity Engineer

Overview / Summary

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team for a project in Lisbon or in Porto.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Build and maintain SOAR use cases and automated playbooks (Cortex XSOAR, Microsoft Sentinel, FortiSIEM).
• Monitor, correlate and investigate SIEM alerts and logs to detect and respond to security incidents.
• Develop and optimise automation to improve response time and reduce false positives.
• Document procedures, support post-incident analysis, and mentor junior SOC analysts.

Mandatory Requirements

• +3 years of experience (minimum 1 year in SOAR; less experience may be considered for a junior role).
• Solid knowledge of incident response, threat detection and security monitoring frameworks, with proven practical experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR, Microsoft Sentinel and FortiSIEM (mandatory; equivalent tools may be considered).
• Native Portuguese and technical English.
• xSOAR certifications are a strong plus.
