Noesis is seeking seasoned Linux system administrators to join our Porto team. You will build, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure across enterprise distributions and cloud platforms, with a strong focus on automation.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of hands-on Linux experience, scripting skills, and a collaborative mindset to work with architects and project managers. Fluent English required; on-call rotations may apply but automation reduces workload.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of proven experience in Linux system administration across enterprise distributions (RHEL/Oracle Linux/Rocky).
• Windows Server knowledge as a complementary skill.
• Solid OS fundamentals including CLI, process management, file systems, permissions, and OS-level troubleshooting.
• Experience building, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure services and applications on top of operating systems.
• Experience with scripting and automation (Bash/Shell, Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, etc.).
• Experience using Git and following good collaboration/code management practices.
• Understanding of storage, virtualization, networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, firewalls, AD).
• Familiarity with cloud concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and major providers (GCP/Azure/AWS).
• Strong troubleshooting: incident analysis, root cause, preventive measures.
• Ability to work with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset focused on automation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• On-call rotations with automation to reduce workload.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

• Solid understanding of operating system fundamentals, including command line usage, process management, file systems, permissions, and OS-level troubleshooting;
• Experience in building, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure services and applications running on top of operating systems;
• Experience with scripting and automation (hands-on Bash/Shell, Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, etc.);
• Experience using version control systems such as Git (e.g., GitHub or GitLab), following good collaboration and code management practices;
• Good understanding of infrastructure-related domains such as storage, virtualization, networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, firewalls, DNS, AD;
• Familiarity with cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and working knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (GCP, Azure, AWS);
• Strong troubleshooting skills, including incident analysis, root cause identification, and implementation of corrective and preventive measures;
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, project managers, and other technical stakeholders;
• Proactive mindset with a strong focus on automation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement;
• Participate in on-call rotations (but there shouldn’t be a lot of work since you will work to automate everything!);
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
