We are looking for a Leisure Sales Manager, based at the stunning Kimpton Atlântico Algarve. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and strategic sales professional with a strong background in the leisure travel segment.

The Leisure Sales Manager will play a key role in driving transient leisure revenue across Highgate’s Portugal portfolio, cultivating strong partnerships with key accounts, and contributing to the continued success of our properties in both domestic and international markets.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with key leisure partners;
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities to maximize room revenue and market share;
  • Represent the brand and properties at relevant trade shows, fairs, roadshows, and networking events;
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Revenue teams to support tactical offers and seasonal campaigns;
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends, providing strategic input to the sales team;
  • Create and manage account plans, sales reports, and regular performance forecasts;
Requirements
  • Ideally, 3 years of experience in hotel sales with a focus on the leisure segment, candidates without prior experience will also be considered;
  • Solid understanding of the Portuguese and international leisure markets;
  • Strong travel trade network and relationship-building skills;
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English; other languages are a plus;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally when required;
  • Experience with hotel systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi, Salesforce) is preferred;
