Vestas is seeking an experienced R&D Developer to design embedded software and firmware for wind turbines. You will work within the OS & Framework sub module to extend the platform, participate in architecture decisions, and collaborate across an international team.

The role requires 3+ years of industry experience, strong C/C++ skills, and fluency in English. A hybrid, Porto-based position offers opportunities to lead teams and contribute to secure, scalable software delivery.

The Framework & OS Sub Module is a part of Vestas Research & Development, and we are responsible for delivering the software platform, networking solutions and cyber secure protocol interfaces to ALL Vestas turbines. As an R&D Developer, you will join the work on extending the platform as part of new turbine. development projects as well as participating in improvement and technology projects setting the direction for the processes and long-term features of the platform.Includes the option to take responsibility for leading team delivery and collaboration, serving as Scrum Master for up to two teams.
