Job description:

• Coordinating the tasks of the technical department
• Taking measurements
• Creating quotations
• Material breakdown
• Ongoing cost analysis of maintenance and repair work
• Creating viability assessments
• Preparation of contracts
• Managing contractors
• Understanding implications of health and safety regulations
• Previous experience with façade works is critical – structural steel, curtain wall, skylight, metal works, etc.
• Site visits, assessments, and projections for future work
• Traveling might be required (expenses covered)
• Innovation in the product line (creation of new systems)
• Working closely with marketing (participating in technical meetings, presentations, creating marketing tools)
• Other duties as assigned

Skills required for the role:

• Engineering/architectural/quantity surveyor background
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel and Word)
• Ability to produce 2D/3D drawings
• Experience and understanding of window systems, roofing solutions, partitions, curtain walls, cladding, automatic doors, and handrails
• Experience in estimating
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the aluminum and glass industry
