Job summary

Loop Future in Lisbon is hiring a Mid-Senior Embedded Software Developer. You will design object-oriented software for embedded and constrained systems, working close to hardware, Embedded Linux and secure communications.

The role may involve RTOS and PC-side C#/.NET applications depending on the project; you will build and maintain C++ software, integrate hardware interfaces, and contribute to robust, low-attack-surface Linux distributions.

Qualifications

• Mid-Senior Embedded Software Developer role focusing on C++ in embedded/constrained systems.
• Work with Embedded Linux and secure communications to deliver robust software.
• Potential exposure to RTOS and PC-side C#/.NET applications depending on the project.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain C++ software for embedded and constrained systems, using strong object-oriented principles to define classes, interfaces and component interactions.
• Build and secure Yocto-based Linux distributions, ensuring a minimal attack surface and protected boot cycles.
• Integrate hardware interfaces and communication buses such as SPI, I2C and UART, considering memory, CPU and platform constraints.
