Job summary

Bosch Lisboa is seeking an experienced embedded C++ developer to lead design, development, and maintenance of complex software for embedded systems. You will guide junior engineers, optimize designs, and drive robust testing and documentation in an international setting.

Collaborate with hardware teams, implement scalable features, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while maintaining high code quality and clear communication in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years in software development with at least 5 years in C++ for embedded.
• Strong object‑oriented design, patterns, and modern C++ standards.
• Experience with build systems: CMake and Conan2.
• Knowledge of SPI/I2C, RTOS, and hardware interfaces.
• CI/CD and debugging excellence; strong communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and maintenance of complex C++ applications for embedded systems.
• Guide junior developers and promote best practices and advanced techniques.
• Optimize software designs and implement new features for performance and scalability.
• Lead code reviews and develop testing strategies for reliability.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless software-hardware integration.
