Emma – The Sleep Company in Lisbon is seeking a high‑impact Logistics Manager (Last Mile & Reverse) to own end‑to‑end delivery across Southern Europe. You will design, optimize, and scale post‑warehouse logistics—from outbound to returns—while collaborating with a broad range of internal teams.

Based in Lisbon, you will manage external partners, forecast capacity, and drive improvements in cost, quality, and customer experience.

Qualificações

  • 3+ years in last mile, reverse logistics, or end-to-end supply chain roles in e‑commerce, FMCG, retail, or fast-paced environments.
  • Ownership mindset, capable of working both strategically and hands‑on.
  • Experience managing external partners and driving measurable improvements in ops performance.
  • Strong analytical skills with data‑driven decision making.
  • Able to navigate ambiguity and thrive in dynamic environments, balancing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management across functions and levels.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsabilidades

  • Own last mile and reverse logistics performance across the Southern Cluster, ensuring service excellence and cost efficiency.
  • Develop and manage a network of delivery and reverse logistics partners with clear KPIs and governance.
  • Lead operational improvements by identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions.
  • Oversee capacity planning and forecasting for delivery and returns; align with demand trends.
  • Evaluate and optimize network design, carrier allocation, routing, and partner footprint.
  • Collaborate with S&OP, Transportation, Warehousing, and Customer Experience teams to ensure smooth execution.

We are looking for a high-impact Logistics Manager (Last Mile & Reverse) to take ownership of our end‑to‑end delivery experience across the Southern Europe Cluster. This role goes beyond traditional last mile operations. You will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and scaling the full post‑warehouse logistics journey—from outbound delivery to returns and reverse logistics—ensuring a seamless, cost‑efficient, and high‑quality customer experience.

Based in Lisbon, with regular interaction with our warehouse and carrier network across the South Europe region, you will operate at the intersection of operations, strategy, and partner management. You will report directly to the Team Lead for Warehouse to Delivery and play a key role in shaping how Emma delivers and recovers products at scale.

This position offers a unique opportunity to take on broad ownership in a fast‑growing environment, with direct impact on both customer experience and operational performance.

  • You will take full ownership of last mile and reverse logistics performance across the Southern Cluster, ensuring service excellence, cost efficiency, and scalability across both outbound and inbound flows
  • You will manage and develop a network of delivery and reverse logistics partners, driving performance through clear KPIs, structured governance, and continuous improvement initiatives. This includes overseeing delivery execution, returns handling, failed deliveries, and refurbishment‑related flows.
  • You will lead operational improvements by identifying inefficiencies, conducting root cause analyses, and implementing scalable solutions that enhance delivery success rates, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • You will own capacity planning and forecasting across delivery and returns, ensuring readiness for peak periods and alignment with demand trends. In parallel, you will continuously evaluate and optimize network design, including carrier allocation, routing logic, and partner footprint.
  • You will act as a key interface across internal teams such as S&OP, Transportation, Warehousing, and Customer Experience, ensuring alignment on priorities and smooth execution of operations, including new product launches.
  • You will build and manage strong relationships with logistics partners, leading performance reviews and pushing for higher standards, innovation, and automation.
  • You bring 3+ years of experience in last mile, reverse logistics, or end‑to‑end supply chain roles within e‑commerce, FMCG, retail, or similarly fast‑paced environments.
  • You demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and are comfortable operating both strategically and hands‑on.
  • You have experience managing external partners and driving measurable improvements in operational performance.
  • You are highly analytical, with a structured approach to problem‑solving and a focus on data‑driven decision‑making.
  • You are able to navigate ambiguity and thrive in dynamic environments, balancing multiple priorities effectively.
  • You bring strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
  • You are fluent in English; Spanish is a strong advantage.
