- Maximize sales and market share of Orphalan products within the territory.
Responsibilities and duties
- Achieve regional sales, growth, and market share targets
- Develop, implement, and update a territory business action plan (including analysis, identification of key customers, issues and opportunities, tactics/activities etc.)
- Participate in the planning and execution of the national sales and marketing strategic plan, both short and long term
- Develop and nurture a network of close relationship to target customers
- Identify new potential customers and business opportunities
- Remain updated on scientific knowledge, to ensure a high-quality exchange with clinicians and other stakeholders, at individual calls or presentations to customer groups
- Comprehensive continuous market and competitor analysis
- Participation in national/regional meetings and medical conferences
Requirements:
- Scientific background/degree combined with >5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales
- Perfect knowledge of the Portuguese Health Care Market
- Experience in rare diseases is highly desirable.
- Outstanding negotiation skills with a good sense for business and people
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Integrity and a flexible mindset
- High energy, positive outlook person who has an entrepreneurial spirit, business sense, and the drive to succeed, proactive approach
- Ability to set priorities, highly self-accountable
- Ability to build strong relationships with Key stakeholders
- IT skills in standard Microsoft office applications
