Spin.Works in Portugal is seeking a systems engineer to contribute to the end-to-end development of small satellites and intelligent payloads, guiding work from requirements to qualification, launch and space operations.

You will define system architecture, mission operations concepts, perform orbit analysis, and support AIVT activities while preparing and reviewing design documents and test plans for coordination across disciplines.

• Define mission operations concepts, procedures and constraints.
• Perform mission and orbit analysis to support power, link, mass and operational budgets.
• Support subsystem design across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including design documents, interface documents, test plans and reports.

• Develop system architecture, including system functions, modes, interfaces and operational concepts.
• Support Assembly, Integration, Verification and Testing (AIVT) activities, including environmental qualification campaigns.
• Support risk identification, issue tracking and technical decision-making across the project lifecycle.
