Critical FlyTech, a joint venture by Airbus and Critical Software, is expanding its avionics software team in Coimbra. We are seeking engineers to tackle safety-critical embedded software for avionics, cabin management, and flight control units.

You will design, implement, test embedded software in C/C++, learn DO-178C, and collaborate with an international team to deliver high-quality systems.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in embedded software development in C, C++ and/or model-based software development.
• Knowledge of the software engineering V-cycle and its application.
• Familiarity with debugging tools, simulators, or basic testing techniques.
• Understanding of real-time systems and safety-critical software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, international team environment.
• Enthusiasm for writing clean, reliable code and learning industry best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Assist specifying, designing, implementing and testing embedded software for avionics systems, cabin management systems, and flight control units.
• Learn and apply aerospace standards like DO-178C.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers across software, systems, and Airbus teams.
