FARFETCH is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to help evolve our e-commerce platform from Porto, Portugal. You will join a friendly, growing team and work with modern tech to build scalable services, learn quickly, and contribute ideas for the next generation of our platform.

In this role you’ll apply a solid foundation in object-oriented programming, collaborate across teams, and grow your expertise with .NET, SQL Server and MongoDB while contributing to high-quality code and robust testing

Qualificações

• Solid foundation in object-oriented programming (C# and .NET, or Java).
• Knowledgeable of REST APIs and software testing (unit/integration).
• Interested in large-scale, microservices architectures.

• Evolve our e-commerce platform, defining its future.
• Expand our microservices architecture, creating new services.
• Advance your capabilities with state-of-the-art technologies (.NET, SQL Server, Mongo).

• Evolve our e-commerce platform, defining its future

• Cooperate with other teams to assure the technical feasibility of the scope of the projects.

WHO YOU ARE

• Solid foundation in object-oriented programming (C# and .NET, or Java) and eagerness to grow technical skills.
• Aware of modern software development best practices and interested in large-scale, microservices architectures.
• Knowledgeable of software testing (unit and/or integration tests).
• Stay on top of all of all best practices of modern software development.
• Knowledgeable of REST APIs.
• Passionate about code quality.
• Curious and proactive, with a strong desire to learn and contribute with fresh ideas.
• Interested in large-scale systems.
• Passionate about solving complex problems..
