Job summary

TALEO Consulting Group in Lisbon, Portugal, is seeking a Securities Settlement Officer to join its Securities Settlement Department in Lisbon. Hybrid work arrangements are available, combining office presence with remote work as appropriate.

You will handle core processes including pre- and post-settlement activities, clearing, custody, maintaining relevant legal documentation, and transaction- and event-related accounting for securities in scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or Management.
• Up to 2 years of experience in banking and financial operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication skills and team spirit.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure the settlement of securities transactions and associated products
• Perform cash and position reconciliations across internal systems and local custodians
• Ensure referential data is kept up to date with the responsible teams
• Respond to emails and queries accurately and in a timely manner
