YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a Junior SAS Data Engineer to join our team in Lisbon (hybrid work).

Your Main Responsibilities Will Be

• Ensure the integration of data into the databases where it will be stored, whether in simple structures, Data Marts, Data Warehouses, or Data Lakes, both in cloud environments and on‑premises.
• Define and implement ETL pipelines, as well as support the deployment and quality testing of these structures.
• Implement data ingestion solutions in batch or real‑time pipelines.
• Ensure coordination between the DAU and the IT team to structure and implement governance for all informational databases.

YOUR PROFILE

• Academic background in Statistics, Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar analytical/technical fields.
• Strong motivation to develop skills in data engineering, including SQL, SAS, ETL, and data modelling (training provided).
• Curiosity, analytical thinking, and an interest in working with large datasets and complex data environments.
• Good understanding of logical reasoning, problem‑solving, and structured thinking — even without hands‑on experience.
• Availability and willingness to learn tools such as SAS, SQL/T‑SQL, Shell scripting, ETL frameworks, and data platforms.
